We didn’t decide to use Yamaha Jet Boats by accident, our decision to run No Propeller speedboats keeping our clients safer was intentional.

August 27, 2011: “Before we go further, I would like to express our sympathies to the family and friends of Dr. Stephen Keller DDS. We followed the boating accident in several news reports and observed an outpouring of love from many for their beloved dentist and friend. In the Stephen Keller accident, Mr. Keller, a 46 year old dentist from San Jose, was the passenger of a rental boat (not TahoeJetBoats) docking at Chambers Landing on the west shore of Lake Tahoe about 4 pm Saturday August 27. He was onboard with four more men from the Bay area. The boat operator was trying to get the boat in position to dock. The boat lurched forward, Mr. Keller fell over the stern and was struck by the propeller. Stephen Keller died at the scene.“

Expert Watersports Instruction from our Concierge Captains:

Our gear is available for participants who have already achieved intermediate proficiency
Instruction and coaching for your group is available for an extra fee, great for first timers, beginners and participants who have not done it in years
Please provide us with an honest and accurate description of participant proficiency at booking; if it’s clear that a participant has exaggerated their reported proficiency they will not be allowed to continue without paying for instruction
Minimum age for waterskiing, wakeboarding and wakesurfing (waketubing is included for everyone) is 8 years old
Participants are not permitted to instruct or coach
All water sports participants must pass a deep water swim test. Non swimmers will not be permitted to participate in boat watersports, paddleboarding or aqua-lily floating island. They are welcome on the boat but must wear a PFD the entire time.
Intentionally jumping off the waketube while being towed on Lake Tahoe may result in the jumper getting a $5000 fine from the USCG Sector San Francisco (Lake Tahoe) for ‘interfering with the safe operation of a vessel’. Learn more: 1, 2, 3 Never jump off the waketube while underway.
